‘90s country music star set to perform at Grange Fair’s grandstand stage this summer
The Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair is six months away, but organizers have started announcing what to expect from grandstand performers at this year’s event.
Aaron Tippin, a 1990s country music staple and singer of popular songs like “You’ve Got to Stand for Something” and “Kiss This,” will be bringing his tunes to the grandstand on Monday, Aug. 19.
Tippin started his career in 1990 in Nashville and has continued making music that resonates with the blue-collar crowd. According to his website, the resurgence in the popularity of ‘90s country music has made him more in demand than ever.
The Grange Fair announced on its Facebook page Thursday night that Tippin would be performing — the first announcement of grandstand artists for this year’s fair. More announcements on the 2024 Grange Fair grandstand performers will be released by organizers every Thursday at 7 p.m.
Grandstand shows are free, but admission to the fair is required.
In years past, the fair has hosted performers like Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen, Garth Brooks and many more of country music’s biggest stars of both the past and present.
The 2024 Grange Fair will be held Aug. 16-24. For more information, visit the fair’s website.
