Admitted Habitual Liar Lil Woody Claims He Made Up Fake People To Snitch On In YSL RICO Case

In a new clip circulating from Young Thug’s current YSL RICO trial, controversial witness Lil Woody claims that he made up two fake people to snitch on, sending cops on a wild goose chase.

According to Woody, he made up two men named “Lil Mike” and “Quez” when questioned by police, answering “no” when asked if they are real people, as officers never heard of them in connection to the case until Woody passed the blame for a particular incident onto the nonexistent perpetrators.

“You invented a person out of thin air, correct?” the questioning attorney asked Woody, who confirmed he did. “You invented those people to take the heat off of you and put it on fictional character.” Check out the courtroom moment below.

Woody, born Kenneth Copeland, has confessed to repeatedly lying to officers about various aspects of Young Thug’s RICO trial, including placing blame on Thugger for incidents he — according to Copeland — had nothing to do with.

“This is what happened. The police kept locking me up for whatever they could. Every time I come out the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So, what I did was, to get ’em off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

He went on, “In my mind, I knew that the police would never go mess with him [Young Thug]. So, it was easy for me to try to throw the blame off on him, to get them off of me. And that’s what I was doing from all these years. I don’t remember what I done told them in the past, but my whole motive was Thug did it because I knew he didn’t do it, and they couldn’t lock him up.”

Young Thug and 27 others — including Gunna, who has since been released — were indicted in 2022 on accusations of committing multiple violent crimes and violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations law.
