Aimee Lou Wood shares The White Lotus character detail
Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood has revealed more about the character she'll play in The White Lotus season three.
Mike White's star-studded holiday satire is set for a 2025 return, with its third instalment seeing Wood playing an English character.
In a recent interview, the Daddy Issues star explained that, just like her, her character hails from Manchester, though this wasn't always the case.

"My character was meant to be American, and then I did a self-tape, one in an American accent and one in my own," the star told RadioTimes magazine. "They were like, 'Yeah, we want your own voice,' so my character is going to be from Manchester!"
The upcoming season will be set in Thailand, with names of the likes of Fallout's Walton Goggins and The Gilded Age's Carrie Coon checking in TV's most chaotic luxury resort.
As with previous instalments, there will be at least one returning character in the form of Natasha Rothwell's Belinda Lindsey, who reprises her role from season one.

Belinda was last seen hanging out with Jennifer Coolidge's wealthy Tanya McQuoid in Hawai?i. Back then, Tanya planned on funding Belinda's spa practice, but the investment never materialised.
Despite that disappointment, it seems that Belinda is doing pretty well for herself. In the teaser for the new season, she's seen removing her sunglasses as she enters the White Lotus Thailand resort.
It hasn't been revealed just yet why Belinda has moved from Hawai?i and if she's still pursuing her professional dream, but there are plenty of rich guests this time around to try to make her own spa happen.
The White Lotus seasons 1-2 are available to stream on Max and NOW. Season three will be released in 2025.
