Another restaurant exits Bayfront in Naples: Here's what we know

Stoney’s Steakhouse at Bayfront announced its shutter via Instagram June 16.

The posting notes that the restaurant is permanently closed and that it’s been sold.

In the past year, Bayfront has seen a slew of shutters, including Southern Kitchen & Raw Bar, Industry BBQ and its successor PizzaJones!

As we reported last September, Ambrosi and Sons once planned to take Southern Kitchen’s space for the family’s first restaurant, but that was a no-go.

Years earlier, Bayfront was also the address for Mereday's Brasserie and Roy's.

  • Kevin Stoneburner of Stoneburner Companies owns the gorgeous plaza and is leasing the space to another restaurateur.

  • The new restaurant’s name and type of food will be announced following renovations, possibly in a month.

  • The concept started in 2002 and, for a time, was known as K-Prime Steakhouse. A brief iteration was St. Germain Steakhouse, operated by Bob Germain Jr. and the late Cloyde Pate. Stoneburner reclaimed the space in 2018.

  • Stoney’s last restaurant inspection in May 2024 cited 11 violations, resulting in a $200 fine for one violation issued June 27.
