Appleton Police Department investigating shooting on city’s southside
APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Appleton are investigating a shooting that took place on the city’s southside on Friday afternoon.
According to the Appleton Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of West Valley Road for reports of gunshots, and multiple involved individuals fled the scene.
Several agencies responded, causing a significant police presence that canvases the surrounding neighborhoods. Physical evidence was located at the scene, and interviews are being conducted.
The Appleton Police Department says there were no injuries reported in the shooting, and this remains an active investigation.
