Arkansas State Police identify the suspect in deadly Jefferson County hit-and-run

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas State Police have identified the suspect and vehicle in a deadly accident last week.

Police said that 19-year-old Kalei Owen of Bentonville died after being struck on I-530 near exit 27 shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

ASP officials said the suspect’s vehicle is believed to be a red Honda that will likely have damage to the front passenger side and missing a fog light. State troopers said the model of the car is unknown.

Police did not release the name of the suspect.

Anyone with information on the hit and run or the suspect’s vehicle is asked to contact investigators at 870-850-8630.
