Thanks to an influx of spring breakers from across the country, however, crowds can make traversing the beach a slog ? and it will only pick up for the next five months. Luckily there are a variety of rentable vehicles available to make getting around – or just getting out and having some fun – much more convenient.
Whether you’re looking to navigate the roads, sands or waters at Pensacola Beach, local rental businesses in the area have you covered.

Where to rent golf carts in Pensacola Beach
Golf carts are a popular option for visitors to take across Pensacola Beach.
All golf carts can be taken on any road in Pensacola Beach where the speed limit is 25 mph or less, but “street legal” carts can be driven on roads with a 35 mph or less speed limit. Golf carts cannot be driven over the Pensacola Beach Toll Bridge.
If you’d prefer not to rent or drive a golf cart during your visit, Gopher Carts also offers transportation around Pensacola Beach from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day for no fee, only a tip for the driver.
Below is a list of golf cart rental vendors around Pensacola Beach.
Pensacola Pontoon
Visitors can rent one of Pensacola Pontoon’s six-seat golf carts for three to seven days at a time by calling them at 850-602-4551 for bookings.
After booking, Pensacola Pontoon will deliver one of their golf carts with a full tank of gas and pick the cart up at your location when your rental ends. The rates for renting a golf cart from Pensacola Pontoon are below:
Three days – $599 + tax.
Four days – $749 + tax
Five days – $899 + tax.
Six to Seven days – $999 + tax.

Street Legal Cart Rentals
Beachgoers can choose from Street Legal Cart Rental’s fleet of electric, lithium-battery-powered golf carts to get around Pensacola Beach. Each cart in their fleet also has a Bluetooth audio system and waterproof seats.
Every one of their carts are classified as “street legal” and came in varieties of four, six or eight seats.
Street Legal Cart Rentals offers delivery and pickup for their golf carts, promising delivery by 4 p.m. on the day of delivery and pick up at 9 a.m. on the final day. The times are intended to line up with check-in and check out times of most area vacation rental units. Customers can call 850-407-6654 to request alternate drop-off and pick up times. Customers do not have to be present at the time of pick up.
Delivery is free for customers who rent a golf cart for a period of four days or more. Customers can complete the rental process in person with Street Legal Cart Rentals at 655 Pensacola Beach Blvd.
Street Legal Cart Rentals also began renting their golf carts for daily periods on March 1. The daily rate is $169 per day for a four-seat cart and $199 per day for a six-seat cart. Customers who rent one of their carts for less than four days will have to pay a delivery fee.

The Fun Store
The Fun Store is a locally owned and operated rental company that has a wide range of options for customers from which to chose. Customers must be 22 years old or older to drive a golf cart rental from The Fun Store.
The Fun Store offers two golf car choices: four-seat or six-seat golf carts. You can choose to rent either of their options for one, two or four hours but must place a $100 deposit before being able to take the wheels for a spin.
They also have “funny cars” and “scoot coupes” in stock. The Fun Store’s funny cars are essentially golf carts that were given a cosmetic makeover and their scoot coupes are two-seaters with three wheels.
Both options cost the same rate as their regular golf carts.

The Scooter Hut Rentals
Scooter Hut Rentals offers golf carts with four or six seats that they will deliver to Pensacola Beach customers for no extra cost.
Customers can rent either of the golf cart choices by day, up to six days, or for weekly periods. Scooter Hut is offering a spring break special on its golf cart rentals, knocking off 15% of the rates listed on their website. The listed rates do not include taxes and fees.

Where to Rent Boats and Paddleboards at Pensacola Beach
Coco Los Watersports
You can rent kayaks, paddle boards and even snorkeling gear at Coco Los Watersports.
The rental service was established last year and provides free local delivery for all rental equipment. Coco Los Watersports even provides lessons, for an extra fee of $25, to learn kayaking and paddleboarding.
You can rent one of their kayaks for four hours or a full day, which will cost $50 or $70 respectively. Paddleboards can be rented for the same timeframes and rates.

Frisky Mermaid Dolphin Tours & Rentals
Pontoon boats are available to rent for up to a week or as little as four hours at Frisky Mermaid Dolphin Tours & Rentals, located at 715 Pensacola Beach Blvd.
Frisky Mermaid’s boats are refueled before departure and they provide renters with maps, safety gear and instruction on properly using the boat.
A four hour boat rental from the Frisky Mermaid will cost $275 before tax, with prices varying by the customer’s desired time of use. You can book your rental with the Frisky Mermaid online or by calling 850-910-0635.
Key Sailing
You can rent a single or double kayak, pontoon boats and sailboats from Key Sailing at 500 Quietwater Blvd.
Key Sailing’s kayaks are the most budget-friendly boat rental that the business has. Single kayak rentals start at $15 for an hour, cost $65 for a full day, $100 for two days and are $50 for each additional day. A double kayak rental starts at $25, is $90 for a full day, $135 for two days and are an extra $60 for each additional day.
Their pontoon boats hold up to 11 passengers and will cost $200 to rent for two hours. Rates are $295 for a half day, $495 for a full day, $945 for two days and an additional $400 for each additional day.
Key Sailing’s catamaran sail boats come in two varieties: the Hobie Getaway catamaran is 16 feet 7 inches long and has main and jib sails, and the Hobie Wave is 13 feet long and uses a main sail only. Rates for the Getaway start at $75 for an hour and top out at $400 for a full day, while rates for the Wave range from $55 for an hour to $400 for a full day.

Radical Rides offers kayak and paddleboard rentals. Both rental options come with all the safety equipment necessary as well as personal instruction from staff.

Liberty Boat Rentals
Both Pontoon boats and sail boats are available to rent at Liberty Boat Rentals.
Their pontoon boats are 24 feet and cost $250 to rent for half a day or $400 for a full day. Liberty Boat Rentals also offers the ability to test out the boat before renting. Renting one of Liberty’s sail boats costs $250 for a full day.

Pensacola Pontoon
Pensacola Pontoon offers both tritoon and pontoon boats for rent for up to a week.
During the spring, you can rent either boat beginning at $275 for half a day or $475 for a full day before the cost of fuel and taxes. Each additional day will cost $475 before fuel and taxes.

The Fun Store

Where you can rent personal watercraft on Pensacola Beach
Key Sailing
Key Sailing’s fleet of SeaDoo personal watercraft are available for rent starting at $75 for a half hour and $140 for a full hour – fuel and equipment included – with no added charges for having passengers or changing drivers.
You can rent one of the SeaDoos for up to eight hours for $800.
Renting a personal watercraft from Key Sailing does not require a time reservation. Renters will get a ticket to bring to Key Sailing’s front desk and staff will provide the next available vehicle.

Renting a personal watercraft from Laguna’s will cost either $80 or $145 depending on whether you book for 30 minutes or a full hour. Laguna’s does not offer rentals for longer than an hour.

Rentable Bikes in Pensacola Beach
The Fun Store
The Fun Store provides electric and non-electric bikes for rent to customers by the hour in addition to having a full-service bike shop available for those in need of repairs.
You can also choose to rent either their single or two-seat non-electric bikes. Their two-seat bikes will cost double what the single-seat rate is for your ride. Free locks and helmets come with every rental of a bike from the Fun Store.
Renting an electric bike from the Fun Store will require a $100 deposit and its rider must be at least 18 years old.
