Arrest made in January shooting that killed 2

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has been arrested for a shooting that killed two people in January, the Buffalo Police Department announced Wednesday night.

James White, 22, has been charged in connection. He is accused of shooting and killing 24-year-old John Gibson and 29-year-old David Honer inside of a home on the first block of East Utica Street on the morning of Jan. 2.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died at ECMC. Police said in January that they believed the shots came from outside of the home.

White is facing two counts of second-degree murder. If convicted, he faces 50 years to life in prison.
