Attica Correctional Facility inmate admits to attempted rape following previous rape charge
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An inmate in the Attica Correctional Facility was found guilty Tuesday of attempted rape among other charges against a civilian employee, according to the Wyoming County District Attorney’s Office.
Serial rapist accused of attacking employee at Attica
38-year-old Emmanuel Jenkins was serving a 15-years-to-life sentence at the time of the crime for three counts of rape, three counts of predatory sexual assault, and two counts of third-degree aggravated sexual abuse.
Jenkins was most recently found guilty of the following charges: attempted rape, robbery, second-degree assault, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was found not guilty of third-degree criminal mischief.
He faces a maximum of 25 years in prison when is sentenced in July.
