ATV crash in Brown County injuries three-year-old, woman airlifted to hospital
GLENMORE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 20-year-old Maribel woman was airlifted to the hospital after an ATV crash while carrying a three-year-old boy.
According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, authorities received a report of a single-vehicle ATV crash at around 1:00 p.m. on Cooperstown Road, just east of the intersection with Parkview Road in the town of Glenmore.

A preliminary investigation reveals that an ATV driven by a 20-year-old woman from Maribel and carrying a three-year-old boy from Denmark was traveling west on Cooperstown Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle, and it overturned.
Deputies say that the three-year-old boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but the 20-year-old woman suffered critical injuries and was transported by Eagle III to a local hospital. Names are currently being withheld pending family notification.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources say that speed and/or alcohol do not appear to have been factors in the crash.
