Authorities investigating after single-vehicle crash in Summerdale
SUMMERDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — Authorities are investigating after a single-vehicle crash in Summerdale Monday, News 5 has learned.

According to authorities, the crash that occurred on County Road 28 between Gerogre Yonce Road and County Road 55 involved an overturned vehicle that had been occupied by a dad, a mom, a daughter, and a dog.
Officials told News 5 that the crash happened following an argument where the mom and dog got out of the vehicle. The vehicle, containing the dad and daughter, continued down the road and overturned after crashing through a fence, according to authorities.
Summerdale Fire & Rescue, Fish River Marlow VFD, and Robertsdale VFD along with Summerdale PD, Alabama State Troopers, MedStar EMS, and a helicopter responded to the scene of the crash.
