Back to 90s; Windy Wednesday; windier Saturday — Your 9-Day Forecast
Amy and I flew to Dallas this weekend for Mason’s engagement party and to scout out a place for the rehearsal dinner. One location we considered is the Southfork Ranch, made famous by the TV show “Dallas” in the 70s and 80s. I took a picture of the side of the mansion below. Well, I discovered Estala Casas was an extra on the show in the early 80s, and yes, that’s her with actor Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing)!! Estela, Wow! Star power!!
TONIGHT: The skies will be clear, and the winds will be light out of the SW at 5-10 mph. The low will drop down to 57.
FORECAST: Tuesday will be sunny, and we will be warmer as the high jumps up to 90. The SW winds will pick up in the afternoon and gust to near 25 mph. This warm breeze will not cause any blowing dust. Wednesday will be sunny and windy (no dust) with a high of 92. The SW winds will range from 10-30 mph… enough to call windy but not strong enough to lift up the dust. Thursday will be sunny with lighter winds and a high of 87. Friday will be mostly sunny with just a few clouds and a high of 89. The winds will be light on Friday. Saturday will be mostly sunny with gusty afternoon winds. The SW winds will peak at near 40 mph, which may cause a slight dusty haze by late in the afternoon. Saturday’s high: 92. Sunday will be sunny with lighter winds with a high of 90.
