Barricade police response in Hillsboro leads to arrest
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Hillsboro Police Department announced Wednesday afternoon that they’ve arrested a “barricaded subject” after engaging in negotiations.
The police activity near Northeast Overlook Drive and Northeast John Olsen Avenue closed roads down. However, now that the individual surrendered, police said “Roadways will open soon.”
No other details were immediately available. It’s unclear what led to this police activity and the person being barricaded.
The investigation is ongoing.
