“Texas has been so good to us and we’re honored to have the opportunity to serve the great sportsmen and women throughout the state with genuine friendly, expert service,” said legendary angler, conservationist and Bass Pro Shops founder, Johnny Morris. “We look forward to helping outfit them for all their adventures across the great state of Texas and beyond.”

The store is planned to open in the first half of 2025 with a completely unique custom design like all Bass Pro Shops stores. According to a press release, the chain is looking forward to bringing the largest variety of hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation gear to East Texas.
