Baton Rouge man wanted after shooting in West Baton Rouge Parish, deputies say
WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — The West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man in connection with a shooting that took place on Tuesday, July 23.
Deputies are looking for Julius Knox Jr., 23, of Baton Rouge. He is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery in connection to a shooting investigation.
WBRSO said deputies responded around 7 p.m. “to the Rebelle Lane area regarding a shooting investigation.”
When they arrived at the scene, deputies found someone who had sustained a gunshot wound that was non-life-threatening, WBRSO said.
The investigation remains ongoing. Deputies stated that further details will be released at a later time.
