Baton Rouge police investigate Tuesday night crash involving police unit

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a crash that happened on the interstate on Tuesday, July 30.

A spokesperson for the department said a police unit and another vehicle crashed shortly after 7 p.m. at I-10 East and College Drive. Police said no one was injured but the crash is under investigation.

Details on the other car or others involved in the crash were not immediately available. This is a developing story.

Police are still investigating a separate wreck that happened on Airline Highway in late July. An officer and two others were hurt.
