Baton Rouge Police: Man left dead after fight leads to shooting
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A man was left dead after a fight led to a shooting Monday night in Baton Rouge.
The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after a shooting in the 2700 block of Rebecca Lynn Avenue near Scotland Avenue left Traveon Alexander, 20, dead around 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10.
Investigators said Alexnder was shot and killed after an argument with another man. The suspect reportedly fled the scene.
No further details were released by the police department. An investigation is ongoing.
