BBC releases first look at new thriller from bosses of The Missing and The Tourist
The BBC has released a set of first-look images for Boat Story, an upcoming thriller series from The Tourist and The Missing creators Harry and Jack Williams.
The six-part series follows strangers Janet (Daisy Haggard) and Samuel (Paterson Joseph), who, after discovering a literal boatload of cocaine, agree to sell the drugs and split the money.
However, complications quickly arise when the pair become entangled with the police, masked hitmen and a hardened mobster known as 'The Tailor' (Tcheky Karyo).

The first-look pictures feature Janet and Samuel as they clutch on to their haul of illegal drugs, while another still sees Katyo in action as 'The Tailor'.
After Love's Joanna Scanlan, One Piece's Craig Fairbrass and House of the Dragon's Phil Daniels also star in the series.
The first two episodes were directed by the Williams brothers, who also wrote the series, while Doctor Who director Alice Troughton helmed episodes three and four and Line of Duty's Daniel Nettheim directed the final two.

Discussing their new show following its announcement last year, the Williamses said in a joint statement: "We loved making The Tourist and Boat Story picks up where that left off — tonally, at least.
"It's a morality tale and a thriller and other things that make it hard to define even though we seem to be attempting to define it. It's full of vulnerable, messed-up and eccentric characters, and we've cast some of our favourite actors to play them.
"We are excited to bring this to life along with our fellow directors."
Boat Story will air on BBC One and be available to stream via BBC iPlayer in the UK. It will be available via Amazon Freevee in the US and Germany.
