Belfast man charged with production of child pornography
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Belfast man was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with production of child pornography following a six-month online relationship with a 13-year-old victim, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.
According to officials, 19-year-old Andrew Klos used the app “YesIChat” to communicate with the victim, who was living in Texas.
Klos allegedly sent her sexually explicit videos and photos multiple times a week for around six months. He also asked her to produce sexual content with animals and with a younger girl, officials said. The victim sent numerous sexually explicit images of herself to Klos at his alleged direction.
Klos faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 60 years if convicted.
