This beloved central Illinois eatery will be featured on 'America's Best Restaurants'
A longtime restaurant in central Illinois is set to be featured on "America’s Best Restaurants."
Crews for the online show will visit Busy Corner ? located in Goodfield ? from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 13.
"We're humbled by this amazing opportunity and would like to thank all of our awesome customers for your support!" the business wrote in a Feb. 15 Facebook announcement.
The post garnered more than 450 reactions and 100 shares. In the comments, many people congratulated the restaurant for receiving the recognition.

Busy Corner – which was originally built in 1947 – celebrated its 75-year anniversary in 2022. The restaurant has been operated by various owners throughout this time, and a new, larger establishment has since been built.
Derek and Emily Vollmer became the Busy Corner’s newest owners in 2021 – over a decade after Derek began working at the restaurant. On March 13, the owners will discuss the longtime establishment’s “special place in the community” during an interview with America’s Best Restaurants.
During the visit, the restaurant will also highlight various staples from the menu. Customers at the restaurant can find breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a variety of homemade pies.
The episode will be shared on various online platforms – including the Busy Corner’s Facebook page – at a later date.
America's Best Restaurants is a Kentucky-based company that “travels the country telling the stories and highlighting the unique food of locally owned independent restaurants as part of their ABR Roadshow.” The online show – which has filmed more than 1,000 episodes so far – previously highlighted Mona's Italian Foods in Toluca and Ashers Bar & Grill in Pekin.
