Biden at DNC: 'It's been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your president'

Closing out the first night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention, President Biden thanked the American people for allowing him to serve and addressed his decision to withdraw his reelection bid. "I love the job but I love my country more," said Biden. During his remarks, Biden once again endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, saying she and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, are "people of great character."
