Alongside Comer and Butler as Kathy and Benny, The Bikeriders also stars Tom Hardy as Vandals leader Johnny.

Rounding out the cast are The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus, Bullet Train's Michael Shannon, Narcos' Boyd Holbrook, Paul Sparks, Emory Cohen, Damon Herriman, Beau Knapp and Karl Glusman, while Mike Faist plays the role of photographer Danny Lyon, whose photo-book inspired the movie.

Speaking with Digital Spy in an exclusive chat, writer-director Nichols said he thinks his film will help challenge the stereotypes surrounding bikers.

"People come into this film with an idea of what they think these people are," he said. "What's interesting is when you find out they're possibly a bit more, possibly a bit more complicated, more dynamic."

The Bikeriders starts streaming on Peacock in the US from August 9. The movie is now available to buy or rent from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and more in the UK.
