UPDATE: Mobile Police identify body found on I-65
UPDATE (6/28 11:33 a.m.): Officials with the Mobile Police Department have released the identity of a man whose body had been found near a median on Northbound I-65.
Baldwin County intersection to close Monday, officials say
Police identified the man as 52-year-old Alphonce Campbell of Prichard. A cause of death has not been released.
MPD officials said they are still investigating.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department says a body was found Thursday afternoon on Northbound Interstate 65.
A Mobile Police spokesperson said officers responded to a reported body found near the median on Northbound I-65 between Interstate 10 and Government Boulevard.
On the scene, officers found a male dead on the roadway.

MPD is investigating the cause of death.
The victim’s name has not been released. It will be released once the family is notified.
