Body found along railroad tracks in Jefferson Parish
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office is working to identify a woman whose body was found along railroad tracks on Jefferson Highway.
The coroner’s office reported the woman’s body was found by a man on Friday, Aug. 9.

At this time, coroner’s office officials said investigators are trying to identify her, and the cause of death is under investigation.
