ASHLAND, Ohio (WJW) — Ashland County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a mother and two men after a child was attacked by a pit bull while handcuffed.

According to Ashland County Sheriff officials, the attack happened Saturday at a home along Chapel Street in Savannah.

Suspect in multi-county chase reportedly found with minors at hotel

The 6-year-old was bit on the neck and ear. The child was flown to a hospital for treatment.

Deputies said the boy was restrained with handcuffs on his hands and feet when he was attacked by the dog.

‘Loss is immeasurable’: Local fire chief killed while on vacation

The boy’s mother, Angelina Williams; her boyfriend, Taylor Desiree Marvin-Brown; and the owner of the dog, Robert Michalski; were all arrested and taken to the Ashland County jail. Charges are pending.

Ashland County Prosecutor Chris Tunnell said his office is reviewing the matter.
