Buffalo man arrested 30 times in less than 20 years

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was arrested Sunday for drug dealing, the 30th time he’s been arrested since 2005, according to the Buffalo Police Department.

51-year-old Morrell Buster was allegedly making drug deals around 12:20 p.m. in front of a business on Hampshire Street. Police say they recovered 100 bags of suspected heroin, around two grams of suspected crack cocaine, small amounts of suspected powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Buster was charged with the following:

  • fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

  • fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

  • third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

  • second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia

In addition to the 30 arrests, police say Buster has three prior felony convictions.
