Buffalo man arrested for public lewdness for 2nd time in under 3 weeks
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has been arrested on charges of public lewdness, burglary, harassment and trespassing less than three weeks after being arrested for indecent exposure on W. Delavan and Elmwood, the Buffalo Police Department announced.
It is alleged that 26-year-old Orlando Martinez, Jr. offered to help a 62-year-old woman up the stairs to her apartment on Delaware Ave. on the evening of June 15 before pushing her into her door and performing a “sexual act.” Police said he then fled the building.
Martinez was arrested on June 20. He was charged with the following:
third-degree burglary
public lewdness
second-degree harassment
trespassing
He was arraigned in Buffalo City Court on Friday.
On May 31, Martinez was arrested and charged with two counts of public lewdness following two alleged incidents of indecent exposure on the evening of May 28. At the time, he was released on an appearance ticket.
