Buffalo man charged with sex trafficking of a child
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was arrested and charged with sex trafficking of a child following a Human Trafficking Task Force Investigation on Thursday, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said.
It was suspected by Lancaster police that a 16-year-old juvenile female was being sex trafficked in a motel in the town on June 27.
21-year-old Andrell Montgomery was arrested as a result of an undercover operation and investigation by police and Human Trafficking Unit detectives. The female was safely turned over to family and will be connected to survivor services.
Montgomery was arraigned and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center on $10,000 cash bail.
