Buffalo man dies following shooting outside Jamestown bar
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was killed in a shooting outside a Jamestown bar last Friday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Police responded to the Wine Cellar, located at 309 North Main St., just after 2:15 a.m. last Friday. The victim, 25-year-old Corey M. Johnson, was found shot in a parking lot behind the establishment.
Johnson was transported to UPMC Chautauqua and then transferred to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead on Sunday.
Police said that the incident is believed to be a “targeted event” and that the offender knew the victim.
