Buffalo man pleads guilty to fatal shooting on Bailey Avenue
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man pleaded guilty on Monday to a fatal shooting that left one victim dead on Bailey Avenue in April 2023, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.
Ryan Crawford, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter in the first degree.
On April 2, he shot the victim, 38-year-old Duryll Anderson, with an illegal handgun. Anderson was taken by ambulance to ECMC and later died from his injuries.
22-year-old indicted on murder charge from Bailey shooting
Crawford faces a maximum of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced on July 1, officials said.
He currently remains held without bail.
