Buffalo man sentenced to 35 years to life for double murder in Town of Tonawanda

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was sentenced Wednesday to 35 years to life in prison for killing two people in the Town of Tonawanda, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office told WIVB News 4.

Around 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2022, 20-year-old Jameer Woods shot Buffalo resident Antoyn Williams, Hinsdale resident Kristina Perez and another man with illegal handguns inside an apartment on the 700 block on Parker Boulevard.

Man admits to double murder, assault in Town of Tonawanda

Williams and Perez were pronounced dead at the scene and the third victim survived.

In May 2024, Woods pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder, one count of second-degree attempted murder, one count of first-degree assault, and one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
