Buffalo man sentenced for fatal Bailey Avenue shooting
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was sentenced Monday afternoon in connection with a shooting that left a man dead last year, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Officials said Ryan M. Crawford, 23, shot Duryll Anderson, 38, with an illegal handgun on the 800 block of Bailey Avenue around 2:25 a.m. on April 2, 2023. The victim was taken by ambulance to ECMC where he later died from his injuries.
Crawford was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
