Buffalo woman pleads guilty to lying during murder investigation
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo woman pleaded guilty to making a materially false statement in connection with a 2019 murder investigation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced Monday.
Buffalo man receives three life sentences for role in 2019 burned bodies case
DeAndre Wilson, of Buffalo, was sentenced to serve three consecutive life sentences plus thirty years for the murders of three people on or about Sept. 15-16, 2019.
During a search warrant at her residence, 46-year-old Deshema Clark falsely claimed to an FBI Special Agent that she and Wilson ate dinner and went to sleep there after attending a concert together the evening of Sept. 15. She told investigators that she did not remember him leaving her residence, but remembered waking up and seeing him still asleep.
Clark faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison when she is sentenced on June 24.
