Burglars target multi-million dollar Encino home for 2nd time in less than a week
A home in an upscale Encino neighborhood that was hit by burglars less than a week ago appears to have been targeted again.
Police received a call that possibly three suspects had broken into the home on Edgerton Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. Monday, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told KTLA.
It was unclear if anything was taken from the home, which the suspects fled in what was described as a white Honda Accord.
Investigators also said that no one was home at the time which was not the case when three burglars entered the multi-million dollar home shortly after midnight on July 11.
In that incident, a woman, her grandchild and a household employee hid as a crew of burglars ransacked a bedroom.
The suspects apparently fled after realizing people were still inside the home.
The victims did not come in contact with the burglars and were not physically injured in the incident.
Investigators said that surveillance video showed an SUV in the area around the time of the burglary but no arrests were made.
It was unclear if the two incidents were connected.
