Canisius University student charged with making a terroristic threat in Snapchat post
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Canisius University student was arrested and charged Thursday following a post made on Snapchat that was “threatening in nature,” according to Buffalo police.
The post was made around 11 a.m. Thursday morning, police said. It was sent to the Buffalo Police Department and an investigation began immediately.
The 18-year-old suspect, Wyatt Losi, was quickly identified as the alleged creator of the post and located. He was apprehended without incident. A temporary extreme risk protection order was granted.
Losi was charged with one count of making a terroristic threat.
The Buffalo Police Department encourages anyone to report suspicious activity by calling or texting 716-847-2255.
