Charlie Cox teases "nice little cameos" in Daredevil: Born Again
Charlie Cox has teased elements of the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again, stating that there would be some “nice little cameos”.
The series, a quasi-continuation of the Netflix show, sees Cox reprise his role as the titular superhero, who teams up with Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) in order to save the people of New York City.
Ahead of its scheduled release on Disney+ in March 2025, Cox, who debuted as Matt Murdock back in 2015, teased elements of the MCU series, confirming that some familiar faces would be appearing in some capacity in addition to a mystery new character.

“We don't follow any of the comic books in terms of story,” he told Screen Rant. There's a number of reasons for that. One, because if you follow a storyline closely, it becomes a foregone conclusion because everyone knows how it ends.
“Those of you who saw the leaked trailer from D23 may have noticed a couple of interesting characters come up - I didn't say it, you said it. The trailer's now been taken down, so I'm not going to say anything.
“I remember getting those scripts, and the character that I'm thinking about in particular right now, I remember when I read that [story] before I started doing Daredevil in 2014. I always thought that was a really cool storyline and such an interesting character.”

“[There is] such an interesting dynamic between the two of them. That was really fun, and I'm really excited about that. And there are a couple of other nice little cameos that come up,” added the actor.
In addition to Cox and D’Onofrio, Daredevil: Born Again features a plethora of returning cast members, with Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Ayelet Zurer, Jon Bernthal and Wilson Bethel all reprising their respective roles.
Daredevil seasons 1-3 are streaming on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again is due to premiere in 2025.
