Cheektowaga man charged in connection with police pursuit on East Side
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Cheektowaga man was arrested Monday in connection with an alleged East Side police pursuit that ended with a car crashed into a building, according to Buffalo police.
Police say officers responded to a man threatening a woman with a gun around 1:30 a.m. near Hagen Street and Lang Avenue. A pursuit of a vehicle ensued before the driver, 25-year-old Christian Bogle, jumped out of the car, police said.
The car allegedly struck one of the responding patrol vehicles, which injured an officer, then crashed into a building in the 1600 block of East Delavan.
The injured officer was transported to ECMC for non-life threatening injuries.
Bogle was charged with felony criminal mischief, felony criminal contempt, menacing and other offenses. The incident remains under investigation.
