CHP asks for public help in search of at-large freeway shooter
(KRON) – The California Highway Patrol is asking for public assistance in locating a suspect at large involved in a freeway shooting, according to the department’s press release.
At 2:27 p.m. on Friday, CHP Hayward patrol officers responded to a freeway shooting that occurred on southbound Interstate 238, north of East 14th Street in unincorporated Alameda. Responding patrol officers found a victim who was uninjured in the shooting.

According to CHP, the suspect has not been identified.
