Christel Bell will stand 'for what's right' as Joe Ducey replacement on 'Let ABC 15 Know'
ABC 15 in Phoenix has a new leader for its consumer team, a few months after Joe Ducey left the station.
Christel Bell started as the lead reporter for "Let ABC 15 Know" on Wednesday, April 3. It is basically the same show as Ducey's popular "Let Joe Know," only with Bell in the lead. Ducey's last day on the air was Jan. 31, after 18 years at the station.
"ABC 15 stands for what’s right, which lines up with my values,” Bell said in a statement released by the station. “I can’t wait to be part of the community and hopefully make a difference.”
Where did Christel Bell come from?
Bell worked as a production assistant in Houston and as a reporter and anchor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Kansas City before coming to ABC 15.
“Christel will have a fantastic impact on the 'Let ABC15 Know' consumer unit and the Arizonians it serves,” Mitch Jacob, the news director at ABC 15, said in a statement. “She has experience with, and passion for, working with consumers and will dive right in to find ways to help them.”
