City of Albuquerque providing food, clothes for families in need
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque has several resources available for families who may need assistance with food and clothes during the summer.
Albertsons, Kroger set to sell nine New Mexico stores
The city provided the following list of resources available:
Summer Youth Programs – Availability at Whittier and Snow Park Community Centers.
Family Clothing Bank – Call ahead for more information.
Food Assistance – Call one of our four Health and Social Service Centers to get your food box.
Summer Lunches – Free lunches for ages 1-18 at parks & community centers across Albuquerque.
Free Family Events – Various free and low-cost family activities.
Summer Cool Down – Areas in Albuquerque to help stay cool in the summer.
