City of Augusta sets plans for 4th of July celebration

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The City of Augusta has announced plans for this year’s 4th of July celebrations downtown.

The Independence Day Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4, at 5 p.m. at the Augusta Common.

The event is free and will include live entertainment, activities for kids, food trucks, vendors and at 9:30 p.m. will be a fireworks display.
