City of Buffalo pushes back winter parking regulations start date
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The City of Buffalo has pushed back its winter parking regulations start date for a second time ahead of the winter season.
The start date, which was pushed back to Nov. 22 from Nov. 15, is now Dec. 1.
The city said the postponement is due to the warmer weather conditions and to ensure that residents can transition into winter parking protocols. The city will review parking regulations on a weekly basis to determine any more adjustments.
“Safety and convenience remain top priorities, and we’ll reassess conditions with our Parking Department as we approach December,” said Acting Mayor Chris Scanlon.
