Claire Danes Won The Best Dressed Title At The Met Gala In Dress That Literally Lit-Up
This year’s Met Gala theme - Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology - definitely challenged the celebrities who attended the annual high-fashion soiree.
But while some stars missed the mark (we’re looking at you, Madonna), “Homeland” actress Claire Danes hit the nail on the head with a dress that quite literally lit-up the red carpet.

The 37-year-old arrived at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City in a full-skirted fairy tale frock that made it seem like she was channelling Cinderella. At first, avid Met Gala fans on Twitter were unimpressed.
But there was a lot more to the Zac Posen strapless number than met the eye. And once the lights went down, the full extent of the futuristic dress was apparent.
Some 30 mini battery packs, which were intricately sewn into the fibre optic organza dress, made the gown glow in the dark - thrilling social media users.
