Clarence park adds 6 new pickleball courts

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Clarence is adding six new pickleball courts to Town Place Park, bringing the number in the town up to 12 as the sport gains popularity across the country.

“Our six pickleball courts were often at capacity,” said Town Supervisor Patrick Casilio. “Adding six new courts means players will spend less time waiting for an available court.”

In 2023, 65% more people across the U.S. played pickleball than in 2022.

The courts are available to Clarence residents on a first come, first served basis and are open during normal park hours.
