Clear Creek Amana High School's Henry Davidson is the Press-Citizen Student of the Week
Henry Davidson, a sophomore at Clear Creek Amana High School, is the Iowa City Press-Citizen’s latest Student of the Week.
Davidson secured 484 votes, or 41.87 % of the total vote, narrowly edging out Lone Tree senior Mia Bauwens, who secured 401 votes, or 34.69%.
Clear Creek Amana Principal Mark Moody told the Press-Citizen, "[Davidson] is extremely driven to be successful in the classroom, and his actions back up his words. As a sophomore, it is impressive to see him work hard to balance all his extracurricular activities with his high expectations in the classroom."
Davidson is involved in extracurricular activities like robotics, speech, swimming, band, and cross country. He also sets high expectations for himself as a student and works hard to succeed in the classroom, frequently meeting with teachers during student support hours before and after school.
