Clintonville man found not guilty in mother’s stabbing due to mental disease

WAUPACA, Wis. (WFRV) — A jury found 20-year-old Jordan Peters not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect on Tuesday in the stabbing death of his mother.

The Clintonville resident will be committed to a Wisconsin Department of Health Services facility for the rest of his life.

Five arrested in Oshkosh drug bust following search warrant on Ceape Avenue

The incident occurred on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, on Memorial Circle, where Peters stabbed his mother while she was driving. She managed to stop the vehicle and call 911 but later died from her injuries. Peters remained at the scene and was arrested without resistance.
