More from Deadline
Ahead of November 5 election day, Max subscribers will be able to follow the campaign trail during the critical weeks of the race to the White House. This includes coverage of the ABC News presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, which will be simulcast on CNN International at 03.00 CET (18.00 PT) on September 11 in Europe and replayed.
CNN International is already available via Max in the key territories of France and Poland but the move will roll the network out to 22 more including in Spain, the Nordics, Belgium, Netherlands, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Max, formerly HBO Max, is available in 65 countries worldwide and has been rolling out across Europe over the past 12 months or so, although it is yet to enter the UK due to a long-running HBO content deal with Sky. Max arrives in some Southeast Asian countries later this year.
Broadcast from studios inside and outside of the U.S., CNN International has distribution deals in place with a number of European territories already.
