Co-worker charged after Elmo’s employee stabbed with kitchen knife
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Amherst man was charged following the stabbing of a fellow employee at Elmo’s Restaurant and Bar late Tuesday night, according to Amherst police.
Around 11:30 p.m., police responded to Elmo’s for reports of an employee being stabbed in the upper arm with a kitchen knife by his coworker.
The 32-year-old male victim, also from Amherst, received medical treatment and is currently in stable condition.
53-year-old Vaughn Williams was charged as a result of the incident. He is being held pending arraignment on a second-degree assault charge and a fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon charge.
