Cobra Kai star joins Disney+ spy drama series
Cobra Kai star Jacob Bertrand has joined the cast of a Korean spy drama show.
Bertrand, who plays Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz in the Netflix series, is now set to star in the Disney+ and Hulu show Tempest.
The cast will be led by Gianna Jun and Gang Dong-won, and feature Star Trek's John Cho, Christopher Gorham, and Bertrand's Cobra Kai co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim.

According to Deadline, Tempest will follow the story of highly accomplished diplomat Seo Munju (Gianna Jun) and a secretive international special agent Sanho (Gang Dong-won). Together, the duo are tasked with a dangerous mission. They must uncover the truth behind an attack that threatens the future stability of the Korean peninsula.
Written by Chung Seo-kyung and directed by Kim Hee-won, the series is currently in production in Seoul.
Though Tempest won't be hitting US screens until 2025, Disney+ and Hulu promise viewers that "assassinations, political games, conspiracies and spies will collide" when it premieres.

Details regarding the supporting characters are still being kept under wraps.
Meanwhile, Bertrand and Hannah-Kim have reprised their roles for Cobra Kai's sixth and final season, which is being released in three parts on the streaming service.
Part one of the season landed on July 18, with each instalment featuring five episodes. Part two will arrive on November 15, before the series concludes next year.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Cobra Kai's William Zabka praised the whole cast and crew for their efforts on the series, stating: "I think we've put on an amazing show that we're excited for the world to see."
Cobra Kai streams on Netflix. Season 6 part 2 begins on November 15, with part 3 following in 2025.
