The REDWEST festival will have two stages, with artists playing from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. each day. There will also be food, drinks, country line dancing and other activities.
Olson said the festival has been in the works for a little more than a year now, and REDWEST is excited to bring an event of this size to country music fans in Salt Lake City.

“We’ve seen the success of other country events around the greater Salt Lake City area,” he said. “There’s been a lot of amazing single artist shows. It feels like every time a big country artist comes to USANA or the Delta Center, it’s selling out. There’s a lot of other smaller venues with the same selling-out left and right. It definitely feels like the demand is there and we wanted to give people something on a grander scale.”
REDWEST is partnering with seasoned event organizer AEG, known for producing shows at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre and festivals such as Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Stagecoach and the Buckeye Country Superfest.
REDWEST is also holding a giveaway on their Instagram page for 4 GA+ tickets. A winner will be announced Thursday, March 21.
